About
From project management to UX design
I'm Simon, a UX designer with a background in project management and a passion for creating intuitive, enjoyable user experiences.
Having worked in global organisations such as LEGO, I've developed a strong foundation in stakeholder management, collaboration, and problem-solving.
Working across business and technology teams taught me how to navigate complexity, align competing priorities, and deliver meaningful outcomes.
Today, I apply those same skills to UX design: bridging user needs and business goals to create experiences that are both valuable and enjoyable to use.
How I Work
I start by questioning whether the problem is even real. Before jumping to solutions, I dig into the actual need through user research and competitor analysis, because the most expensive mistakes come from building the wrong thing well. Understanding the problem deeply is what makes the right solution obvious.
Once the problem is clear, I move fast. I quickly ideate solutions, layouts, and visuals, then bring the strongest ideas to life by prototyping in front-end code with tools like Claude Code. Timing, state, and edge cases only reveal themselves when you build the real thing, so I'd rather test a working interaction than debate a static mockup.
My project management background means I weigh feasibility and trade-offs early, not as an afterthought. I do my best work embedded with engineering and product, aligning what users need with what the business and technology can realistically deliver.
